Breathe - Amazon Prime

It's a must watch.

Very realistic and effortless performances by R Madhavan, Amit Sadh, Sapna Pabbi, Neena Kulkarni, Hrishikesh Joshi and especially natural and cute acting by Atharva Vishwakarma (Josh). Madhvan is so in the character. He has created Mascarenhas's persona. The walking style, the inner conflict and everything. Those eyes knew that it was the only way. And Amit Sadh could make us feel fear, guilt, safety and so much at the same time.

But I am more amazed by the crisp and to the point writing. There are two kinds of suspense thrillers. One, where audience doesn't know who has done it and other where audience doesn't know how one has done it. Here we knows both the things and then comes the brilliance of screenplay writing (Mayank Sharma, Abhijeet Deshpande) which is thrilling enough in spite of that.

Mayank Sharma's flawless direction undoubtedly needs our appreciation. And then the background score which is so spine chilling specifically during the title credit.
